BTS dan Halsey Akan Tampil di Billboard Music Awards 2019, Masuk Nominasi untuk Dua Kategori Ini

TRIBUNKALTIM.CO - Grup Kpop BTS akan kembali ke panggung Billboard Music Awards. BTS akan tampil di Billboard Music Awards 2019 membawakan lagu mereka Boy with Luv bersama Halsey.

Setelah penampilan pertama BTS dengan Boy with Luv di Saturday Night Live atau SNL, diumumkan pula bahwa BTS dan Halsey akan tampil bersama di Billboard Music Awards 2019, Sabtu (14/4/2019) seperti dilansir dari Soompi.

Seperti yang telah diketahui sebelumnya, BTS merilis music video Boy with Luv yang menampilkan Halsey pada 12 April.

Rekor YouTube music video Boy with Luv yang merupakan salah satu lagu dari mini album baru mereka Map of the Soul: Persona terus melambung.

Ini adalah tahun kedua BTS untuk tampil di panggung Billboad Music Awards 2019 atau BBMA setelah mereka comeback dengan lagu 'Fake Love' tahun 2018 dan menjadi artis Korea pertama yang tampil di acara itu.

BTS juga dinominasikan untuk dua penghargaan pada tahun ini di Billboard Music Awards 2019 yakni ketegori, op Duo/Group dan Top Social Artist.

BTS telah memenangkan penghargaan Top Social Artist selama dua tahun berturut-turut, dan menjadi grup Kpop pertama yang pernah memenangkan Billboard Music Award ketika mereka membawa pulang trofi pada 2017.

Ini akan menjadi tahun ketiga mereka menghadiri Billboard Music Award.

Rekor BTS dalam 24 Jam

Dalam waktu satu hari atau 24 jam, BTS kembali memecahkan rekor baru melalui music video Boy with Luv yang baru dirilis, Jumat (12/4/2019).

Menandai comebacknya BTS, grup Kpop asuhan Big Hit Entertainment ini merilis music video Boy with Luv dengan menggaet penyanyi asal Amerika, Halsey.

Boy with Luve merupakan salah satu lagu dalam album terbaru BTS, Map of the Soul: Persona.

BTS berhasil memecahkan rekor tertinggi untuk grup Kpop yang ditonton sebanyak 78 juta kali di YouTube dalam 24 jam.

BLACKPINK yang juga baru-baru saja comeback dengan Kill This Love pada 5 April 2019, hanya memperoleh 60 juta penayangan YouTube dalam sehari.

Sehingga rekor grup Kpop yang music videonya paling banyak ditonton masih dipegang oleh BTS.

Artinya, BTS menjadi satu-satunya grup Kpop yang music videonya ditonton lebih dari 78 juta kali dalam 24 jam.

Rekor baru BTS yang ditonton 78 juta kali dengan music videonya Boy with Luv ini mendapat apresiasi dari para ARMY (penggemar BTS).

Sebelumnya, dalam waktu 18 jam setelah Boy with Luv rilis, music video BTS sudah ditonton lebih dari 62 juta kali pada Sabtu (13/4/2019).

Melansir Soompi, BTS telah memecahkan rekor 60 juta penayangan pada pukul 11.45 waktu Korea Selatan.

Artinya BTS hanya membutuhkan waktu 17 jam 45 menit.

Lagu Boy with Luv yang dibawakan BTS kali ini menggaet penyanyi asal Amerika, Halsey untuk berduet bersama grup Kpop asuhan Big Hit Entertainment ini.

Sebelumnya BTS memecahkan rekor sebagai grup Kpop tercepat yang mencapai 60 juta penayangan setelah merilis music video IDOL.

Music video IDOL membutuhkan waktu sekitar 26 jam 30 menit untuk mencapai rekor tersebut.
