Pada 2019 Lay mulai dikenal secara meluas secara internasional dengan tampil sebagai ambassador Samsung Galaxy A8s dan melakukan penampilan kolaborasi bersama ASAP Ferg dan Steve Aoki.

Pada 14 Juni 2019 Lay merilis EP 'Honey' dan meraih 1.87 juta kopi hanya 4 menit setelah album tersebut rilis secara digital.

pada Juli 2019 Lay mengadakan konser solo 'Grand Line, tiket konser tersebut terjual habis dalam delapan detik di Mercedez Benz Arena, dan 25 detik untuk konser di Nanjing, China.

Selain itu Lay juga mengadakan konser tersebut di Bangkok dan Thailand.
